Based in Tirana, A7 Design Studio develops projects in which aesthetics, functionality, and innovation are seamlessly integrated, creating environments that respond to their context, enrich the user experience, and establish a lasting dialogue between architecture and nature. Nestled in the hills of Farka on the outskirts of Tirana, Kodrinat Restaurant is conceived as a retreat where architecture and landscape coexist in harmony. Rather than imposing itself upon the terrain, the building is envisioned as a natural extension of it, placing the visitor's experience at the centre of the architectural composition. Its orientation towards the panoramic views of the city and the careful organisation of spaces create a sequence of experiences in which nature, daylight, and the horizon become inseparable components of the architectural narrative. The volumetric composition is founded on a carefully balanced relationship between formal restraint, clean architectural lines, and spatial dynamism. Well-articulated volumes establish a clear spatial rhythm, while extensive glazing, generous openings, and the use of natural stone dissolve the boundary between the interior and the surrounding landscape. Materials are not treated merely as decorative elements, but as fundamental components of the project's architectural identity, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere that reflects the Mediterranean character of its setting. Natural light becomes the unifying element that connects architecture with the passage of time, continuously transforming the perception and atmosphere of the spaces throughout the day.
